The equipment/instrument that provide early warnings are many such as thermometer, barometer, An anemometer and many others. This book shall be useful to diploma and degree students especially those taking courses in meteorological based training, The disaster courses at diploma and degree level will find it useful. The PhD students taking disaster preparedness and engineering management will find this book useful in their main courses. The lecturers who teach the weather instruments will have a humble time in preparation for this course. The curriculum for PhD in disaster preparedness and engineering ,especially weather instrumentation course,is well covered
